Summary
- Job Position: EH&S Professionals
- Salary/Pay: $34-38/hour, Per diem $125.
- Shift: Day Shift - 6/10s
- Location: Saline, MI
- Start Date: 5/15/26 through December 2026
- Eligible for overtime after 40 hours.
- Three years' experience in Construction includes: Roofing Work/Leading Edge and Fall Restraint/Prevention safe practices, Aerial Lifts, light to medium crane to roof rigging activities.
- Provide EH&S technical and cultural leadership for the roofing project team.
- Work with the assigned company Project and/or Construction Manager to ensure all applicable technical elements are understood and subsequent EH&S requirements are met for the site.
- Conduct ongoing field safety assessments and formal safety audits of activities related to the roofing activities, as specified in the assigned company written Safety Program for the project.
- Act as a technical safety advisor to the Project/Construction Manager and Employees.
- Facilitate regular site safety meetings and new employee/site orientations as needed.
- Complete regular, standardized reports detailing project safety status and report to the Project/Construction Manager or designee.
- Must be able to advise on OSHA, EPA and other pertinent safety and environmental requirements.
- Assist in external agency interactions (OSHA Inspectors, OSHA Log Management) as appropriate.
- Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry, document management, tracking systems).
- Must be a good communicator and team oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
