Job Title: Janitor / Custodian
About the Role:
Location: Grass Valley
Job Type: Part Time
Pay: $18.00/hr
Days: Monday-Friday
Start Time: After 6pm (Night Only)
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Commercial Janitor/Custodian to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining commercial spaces such as offices, medical buildings, or industrial sites.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Dust furniture, windows, and surfaces
- Restock supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Report any maintenance issues or damages
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly
Requirements:
- Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred (but not required)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs (or more) and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
