Position Summary: The Controls Installer is responsible for assisting in the installation of conduit, wire, cable, equipment, and devices associated with energy management systems including electric/electronic controls, panels, sensors, and other BAS components. Controls Installers follow installation standards and project submittals to ensure a high-quality installation that supports long-term BAS functionality.

- 1β3 years of experience in construction, electrical installation, or related field
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, conduit installation, and control wiring
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics
- Demonstrated attention to detail with ability to follow technical instructions
- Experience working in commercial mechanical or electrical environments is a plus
- Basic familiarity with HVAC systems and building controls is desirable
- Strong work ethic with willingness to learn advanced controls and automation systems
- Install conduit, wiring, cable, and control panels in accordance with project plans and job submittals
- Mount and terminate sensors, actuators, and devices used in building automation systems
- Perform cable pulling, labeling, and wire management to meet safety and quality standards
- Follow layout drawings and wiring diagrams to complete accurate installations
- Collaborate with BAS Technicians and Project Managers to execute projects on time
- Maintain proper documentation of daily work activity and inventory usage
- Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Provide professional interaction with clients, contractors, and internal team members
- Troubleshooting wiring issues
- Assist with start-up, point to point checkout and commissioning
