The Recruiting Manager will play a key role in building Envelop Group's workforce by leading recruitment efforts across all operating companies. This position will be responsible for developing recruiting strategies, managing full-cycle recruiting processes, and strengthening relationships with technical schools, universities, and industry partners. The Recruiting Manager will work closely with company leaders and HR to ensure the attraction, selection, and retention of top talent aligned with Envelop's growth objectives.
What you'll do:
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet current and future staffing needs.
- Partner with leadership to understand workforce plans and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
- Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Develop job postings and recruitment materials aligned with Envelop's brand and values.
- Train and coach hiring managers on interview techniques and candidate evaluation.
- Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience from application to onboarding.
- Build strong relationships with trade schools, technical programs, universities, and professional networks.
- Manage the job fairs, career events, and industry functions for Envelop Group.
- Collaborate with marketing to create recruiting campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials.
- Promote Envelop's culture, mission, and career growth opportunities through external channels.
- Manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology tools.
- Track hiring activity, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality; report results to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws during all recruitment activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience building relationships with external partners such as universities, trade schools, and workforce organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage recruiting programs and lead a team of recruiters or coordinators.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels.
- Experience in technical, skilled trades, or construction-related recruiting preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to maintain a professional appearance.
- May be required to travel to career fairs, schools, and Envelop company locations.
- Must be able to carry and move recruiting materials weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted.
