QUALITY INSPECTOR

Pay Information - $18.62 - $20.69
What You'll Do:
- Performs inspection of parts, or material the majority of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.
- Performs a variety of standard testing processes on in-process or final products during manufacturing or inspection and records and analyzes results.
- Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.
- May use automated and manual techniques including to perform non-destructive tests to identify errors or defects.
- May be responsible for testing during production and finished products.
- Follow all safety rules and practices.
- May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Facility Specific Tasks, Requirements or Certs.
• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment
• Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected
• May be required to achieve certification 1 NDE method within 6 months
• Performs basic quality control of incoming materials or end product
