What are the responsibilities and job description for the Access Control & CCTV Technician position at ENTRY TECHNOLOGIES OF NORTH TEXAS?
Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Install and configure both current and future project scopes, including low-voltage systems like CCTV, access control, audio/video setups, PDTV, vehicle gate motors and access control, as well as smart devices (unit locks, hubs, sensors, and related components).
- Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, troubleshoot wiring issues, and update firmware/software as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Integrate access control systems with other security solutions, such as video surveillance and alarm systems.
- Assist with manual labor tasks when required (e.g., shoveling).
- Ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Be available for occasional light travel and overtime as needed.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions (both hot and cold).
- Light travel with possible overnight stays.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
