What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control position at Entry Technologies of North Texas, LLC?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team member to support our field operations through quality assurance and documentation. This role plays a key part in maintaining project standards and supporting cross-departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections, including photo and video documentation of job sites
- Utilize current and emerging software platforms to access project drawings, upload media, and generate punch lists
- Review task completion and workmanship, creating punch lists as needed to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage daily schedule to ensure timely completion of QC checks across all active jobs
- Ensure construction safety followed while on all job sites
- Collaborate with other departments to support daily operational goals and ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record eligible for company insurance coverage
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn software platforms such as Holo, BuilderTrend, Bluebeam, NetSuite, and any additional software needed to effectively do the job.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Construction industry experience strongly preferred with exposure to access control systems, CCTV, audiovisual setups, and alarm installations a strong advantage.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills and comfort working with digital tools and technology
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Willingness to work overtime as needed with some travel
