Entrust’s ID & Card Issuance segment is seeking a passionate product marketing professional to take a leadership role within the product segment, and across Solutions Marketing. The Solutions Marketing Director defines the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy – working closely with engineering, product management, corporate marketing, channels and field sales organizations to help take Entrust Issuance to the next level. Key responsibilities of the Solutions Marketing group are to provide voice of customer, analysts, competitive and market insights, sales/channel enablement, product messaging and positioning, launch products, and to help define and drive the overall strategic direction and evolution of the portfolio.
Position Overview:
This Issuance Security Solutions Marketing Director plays a critical role in growing Entrust’s share in the highly competitive Issuance market. You will be responsible for defining the compelling solution value proposition for key use cases, and building messaging that is differentiated, clear, simple, and compelling. As the chief Issuance storyteller, you will serve as a global subject matter expert on the market, trends, and Entrust products. And as a director you will lead cross-functional initiatives that are critical to growing the Entrust business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Issuance market, a passion for storytelling, experience leading cross-functional teams, management know-how, and an ability to get work done.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly product marketing, analyst and communication strategies and plans, working in partnership with growth and field marketing
- Develop product messaging and positioning with product management that is both relevant, compelling, differentiating, and targeted to buyers
- Define and articulate the solution communication strategies, unique value proposition, and messaging plans for various target use cases, audiences, and personae
- Be the expert on your customers, how they buy, their buying criteria and how to best reach them; glean deep customer insights that lead to better ROI
- Develop engaging product collateral, thought leadership content, and sales enablement content, including: datasheets, website content, white papers, playbooks, and battle cards that bring impactful content to Entrust sales, partners, and end users
- Coordinate with growth, field, and channel marketing teams to drive marketing initiatives to drive pipeline that will convert to revenue. Be accountable to segment stakeholders to help ensure Issuance Marketing KPIs are attained
- Research competitor and market activity to keep apprised of tailwinds and headwinds. Enable sales and product teams with market and competitive intelligence
- Lead a team of seasoned Solutions Marketing professionals
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of increasing responsibility in product marketing, preferably in the ID & Card Issuance space
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Previous leadership and personnel management experience
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and writing proficiency are mandatory
- Deep understanding and familiarity with channels
- Ability to travel, including internationally, approximately 20% of the time
