Entry Level Design Engineer - Gas Utilities

Are you ready to join a growing engineering consulting firm with a strong gas utility team supporting clients across multiple industries? Entrust Solutions Group is expanding its footprint in Nashville and Kansas City and seeking talented engineers to support high-pressure gas distribution and transmission projects. Our Gas Programs team is at the forefront of utility infrastructure, working on main replacements, public improvements, pipelines, regulator stations, and trenchless installations.

As a Design Engineer, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with project engineers and designers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. You’ll perform engineering calculations, design pipeline routes, and develop construction estimates. This role offers hybrid work flexibility, with site visits and in-person meetings in either Nashville, Tennessee, or Kansas City, Missouri. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering from an accredited institution. 
• Must have valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional project visits. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 0-4 years of natural gas engineering experience, preferably at an engineering consulting firm. 
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation or other 2D and 3D modeling software (drafting will likely not be part of your role, but experience with the software our drafters and designers use is still very valuable).
