EO Chicago is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented part-time Housekeeper to care for EO House, our private membership clubhouse in Bucktown.
Cleaning is the heart of this role. You'll get the House ready each morning before members and guests arrive, keep it spotless through your shift, and give a warm hello to anyone who walks in.
About EO Chicago & EO House
EO Chicago is the local chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization, a global network of business owners. EO House is our members-only clubhouse, used throughout the week for coworking, meetings, events, and private gatherings. Outside groups also rent our meeting and event rooms, sometimes starting as early as 8:00 AM.
What Your Morning Looks Like
Opening the House (before 8:00 AM)
- Clean and reset rooms booked for the day so they're ready when guests arrive
- Turn on lights and music
- Make coffee and set up the kitchen and coffee station
Welcoming guests
- Greet members and guests warmly and point them to their room
- Answer simple questions and help visitors feel at home
Through the rest of your shift
- Spot-clean surfaces, glass, fingerprints, and spills throughout the House
- Mop hard floors, vacuum, and sweep
- Clean restrooms, kitchen, and high-touch areas
- Empty trash and recycling
- Restock beverages, snacks, coffee supplies, paper products, and soap
- Receive and put away deliveries
- Operate the freight elevator for deliveries and supplies (we'll train you)
- Let the Chapter Manager know when supplies are low or something needs repair
You'll Be Great at This If You…
- Have housekeeping, janitorial, commercial cleaning, or hospitality experience
- Take pride in a spotless space and notice the details others miss
- Are reliable and on time, especially for early starts
- Work well independently from a checklist
- Are friendly and comfortable greeting members and guests in English
- Can stand, bend, vacuum, and lift up to 25 lbs
Schedule
About 12 hours per week, weekday mornings starting at 7:00 AM. Additional paid hours may be available for deep cleaning or EO Chicago events.
Reporting
You'll report to the Chapter Manager.
