This position is responsible for the Engine Department support as listed below for Texas Speed and
Performance.

Engine Tech I – Texas Speed Location
This position is responsible for the Engine Department support as listed below for Texas Speed and
Performance.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Assembles Rocker Arm Sets
- Responsible for all Rocker Arm assembly components and boxes
- Engine Tear Down Process (Label components and maintain traceability)
- Visual Inspection of all blocks from start to finish
- Wash and clean parts as required
- Assist in inventory as required
- Keep Tear Down / Rocker Arm area clean and free of trash
- Assist with picking parts as required
- Rod Honing
- Maintains positive working relationships with manufacturing personnel and other staff members to support a positive workplace environment.
- Responsible for implementing and enforcing industry standard safety procedures throughout the block department.
- Performs and executes all other duties assigned by direct manager.
Requirements
- Dynamic, high-energy individual with a track record as an effective communicator and uses a collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Exceptional Mechanical Abilities
- Be able to use Measuring Equipment (Mics, Calipers, Bore Gauge, etc...)
$17- $20 BOE
