Job Summary:
The Service Support Analyst is a senior level resource working with the Enterprise Services Manager supporting Incident and Change Management services for the Operations and Maintenance on the Facilities Access Control System (FACS)/Genetec.
The Service Support Analyst supports Incident and Change Management by helping resolve issues, coordinating with the NCDIT Manager/Supervisor, and ensuring SLAs for FACS operations are met. This role focuses on triaging incidents, supporting business needs, and assisting with application integration, software maintenance, and testing across system environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting all Operations and Maintenance activities
- Assisting with technical deliverables and software solution delivery using SDLC
- Creating and maintaining system documentation
- Testing FACS solutions and supporting UAT
- Coordinating incident management and contributing to change management
- Investigating application issues and documenting resolutions
- Creating knowledge base articles and supporting training and testing needs
- Providing regular status updates
Minimum Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of progressive experience in a distributed software services and working across enterprise software environment(s) or equivalent.
