OUR PROJECT
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support semiconductor wafer fabrication and sensor manufacturing operations in a highly regulated production environment. This individual will serve as a primary technical resource on the manufacturing floor, supporting semiconductor assembly and build processes, equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and manufacturing process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to maintain equipment uptime and process stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for semiconductor wafer fabrication, sensor manufacturing, and production assembly/build processes
- Troubleshoot and maintain complex mechanical, electro-mechanical, semiconductor, and electro-optical equipment to ensure equipment uptime and process stability
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and support repairs on high-vacuum and specialized semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Generate, update, and maintain equipment operating procedures, manufacturing work instructions, and related production documentation
- Support equipment failure investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Assist with the design, development, qualification, and improvement of manufacturing tools, equipment, and processes
- Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, process engineering, quality, and design engineering teams to support production goals and compliant builds
- Support capital equipment procurement, installation, startup, testing, and qualification activities in a regulated cleanroom manufacturing environment
