POSITION TITLE: Legal Assistant

ACCOUNTABLE TO: CEO / General Counsel
ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Timely and accurate administrative support of legal workflows, document processing, and legal recordkeeping across all affiliated companies
CLASSIFICATION: W-8BEN hourly
COMPENSATION RANGE: Ranges between $5.00 per hour to $8.50 per hour commensurate based upon experience and credentials

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Legal Assistant provides critical administrative and clerical support to the Legal Affairs Division, including the CEO, outside counsel, and other authorized leaders. This role facilitates legal document processing, file maintenance, correspondence drafting, and coordination of legal workflows for Enterprise Management and its affiliated companies.
The Legal Assistant helps ensure compliance, document control, and communication within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
SCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Format, proofread, and prepare legal documents including contracts, NDAs, MOUs, and compliance certifications
- Maintain document control systems including Google Drive and the Legal Dropbox
- Receive and sort scanned correspondence from front desk staff for legal review
- Track deadlines, follow-up dates, and legal obligations using shared calendars and task lists
- Coordinate internal reviews and signature collection processes for legal documents
- Schedule meetings and maintain communication logs with legal advisors and consultants
- Maintain confidentiality of all legal, financial, and personnel documents
- Assist with managing company legal files, vendor agreements, and regulatory records
- Support the setup and organization of contract folders across affiliated entities
UNSCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in special legal projects including contract reviews, audit prep, and organizational filings
- Serve as a liaison between internal departments and legal advisors
- Maintain and update legal reference templates and compliance trackers
- Assist in reviewing filings for accuracy and compliance prior to submission
- Support internal documentation of legal risk management activities
- Provide administrative assistance to other executive staff upon request
- Participate in regulatory audit preparation (CARF, COMAR, OHCQ, etc.)
- Identify process improvement opportunities in contract and document management workflows

LEVEL OF EDUCATION / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree or certificate in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a legal, executive assistant, or administrative support role
- Prior experience working with U.S.-based companies or regulatory environments preferred
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to pass background and reference checks
