Duties
- Install electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using solder equipment and hand tools
- Assemble fabricated parts to large or heavy subassemblies with hoists, testing and calibrating mechanisms to meet tolerances
- Provide mechanical installation/service of weather radar systems, working with crane services, conducting operational testing, and training the customer on proper use and care of the system
- Analyzes and troubleshoots electrical issues in weather radar systems
- Associate's Degree in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance
- One year of experience working with electromechanical equipment
- Reads blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly
- Operates hoists, forklifts, and aerial work platforms
- Utilizes calipers, multimeters, torque wrenches and other tools to test and verify system specifications
- Comfortable working from heights
- Able to travel domestically and internationally
