Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Serve as a strategic recruiting partner for hiring managers, field leadership, and department heads
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding support
- Recruit for a wide range of roles including Journeymen, Apprentices, Foremen, Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents, and corporate support positions
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate technical skills, experience, culture fit, availability, and alignment with project needs
- Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions
- Utilize multiple sourcing strategies including job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and direct outreach
- Promote and manage the employee referral program in alignment with company guidelines
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding candidate pipelines, hiring timelines, and market conditions
- Ensure a professional, consistent, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the applicant tracking system and ensure the recruitment tracker is consistently updated with current candidate and requisition status
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, workflows, and efficiency
- Track and support recruiting metrics such as time to fill, source effectiveness, and quality of hire
- Assist with workforce planning efforts in coordination with operations and project leadership
- Support the Director of Talent Acquisition with special initiatives, projects, or strategic recruiting efforts as assigned
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent recruiting experience
- Minimum of 7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting within construction, skilled trades, electrical contracting, or industrial environments
- Experience supporting high-volume and multi-state hiring
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Ability to maintain professionalism, composure, and a high level of emotional intelligence when communicating with individuals at all levels, including during high-pressure or sensitive situations
- Strong organizational, prioritization, time management, and calendar management skills with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines and being punctual and prepared for meetings
- High sense of urgency and accountability

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
