Role: Data Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL Onsite
Visa: EAD
Major Duties
- Support the analytics needs of Technology s Strategic Spend organization and enable insights across the broader Technology organization.
- Works with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their strategies, how they align with corporate strategies and determine ways to use analytics to drive decision making
- Work with the IT Optimization team to develop and report on metrics and key performance indicators
- Work with Enterprise License Management team to develop and report on utilization of software and hardware licenses to maintain compliance
- Work with the Total Cost of Ownership team to deliver reporting to application teams and Technology Leadership.
- Use a combination of tools (SQL, Power BI, Excel, and/or Power Point) to create and deliver insightful reporting in a sustainable and scalable manner
- Create and maintain requirements, specifications, and business processes documentation
- Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve accuracy, viability and value
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment
Required Skills, Knowledge, And Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence
- Bachelors Degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience required.
- Candidate must have strong presentation and reporting skills, as well as high degrees of skill with Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Power Point.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data for analytical projects and translate that data into sound insights.
- Familiarity with relational and dimensional database concepts, querying, data warehouses, requirements gathering and/or decision support tools preferred Strong project management skills a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across technology teams.
