Job Summary
The Game Master is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by safely guiding guests through their escape room journey. At ENTER Escape Room, we operate as one team with one mission: delivering unforgettable experiences. That means stepping in wherever needed to ensure every guest’s adventure is seamless, immersive, and memorable. Whether it’s assisting with game resets, helping at the front desk, or ensuring the space is clean and safe, our Game Masters embrace a collaborative mindset and willingness to take the most effective role.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- All GameMasters are expected to speak confidently in front of groups. Public speaking is a key part of the role
- Monitor Escape Room sessions via video and audio, providing timely hints to ensure a fun and engaging experience.
- Quickly reset and organize Escape Rooms for the next group, ensuring everything is in place for an immersive experience.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and assist with game flow interruptions if needed.
- Ensure each group feels valued, engaged and supported from arrival to departure.
- Manage check-ins and answer questions, providing exceptional customer service.
- Be ready and willing to assist in any capacity needed—whether helping with cleaning, front-desk operations, or maintaining room props and puzzles—to ensure a clean, safe, and seamless experience for all.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment throughout the facility.
- Ensure all props, puzzles, and technology are functioning properly
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Dependable, on time, and committed to showing up when scheduled
- Should have an energetic and welcoming presence. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading experiences
- Able to type at least 60 words per minute consistently
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (for moving props, equipment, or resetting rooms)
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching and reaching while resetting rooms and assisting Guests.
- Ability to climb small ladders or step stools for room maintenance and setup
- Comfortable working in dim lighting, confined spaces, and themed environments that may include fog effects or light/sound elements
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to respond quickly in high-energy, fast-paced situations while maintaining safety and focus
