The goal of the Director, MFL Product Management role is to lead the strategic direction and development of our MFL product line. The role will focus on identifying key customer pain points with significant financial impact, evaluating market opportunities, and crafting a cohesive product strategy that maximizes customer value. The position will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and roadmap creation to successful market delivery and ongoing performance monitoring. Success in this role requires strong stakeholder management skills to drive alignment across various functions including engineering, sales, operations, marketing, and finance. The goal is to ensure our products meet market demands, align with customer needs, and achieve financial targets through data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Owns and manages the product offerings for a customer segment including releases, roadmaps and go to market activities such as pricing, messaging, customer engagement, sales pipeline generation and sales enablement
- Is accountable for organizational and business objectives/targets and is involved in long-term planning and managing complex issues to ensure success of business strategy
- Partners with engineering leaders, project operations and technical product managers to ensure there is a strong development process that delivers continuous, high-quality product and service releases
- Owning introduction and growth of software, hardware, and service product offerings including multi-year build outs to increase serviceable market
- Leads a cross-functional team, distributed team to drive delivery of differentiated high revenue & margin impact products and features
- Risk assessment and management for new product initiatives and product updates
- Develops specialized knowledge of latest commercial market trends and competition in the inline inspection and integrity management space including factors that differentiate them
- Defines and implements pricing strategies based on customer value propositions to maximize product value and market competitiveness
- Have a strong understanding of technology and architecture and its impact on the solution delivered to the customer, costs (hardware/software) and risks to the product release (including performance specifications)
- Creates, identifies, and evangelizes new concepts that result in business model innovation (product, sales, services, and delivery)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Product Management
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working for data technology companies in the industrial space
- Proven track record of substantially growing a company through product‑led growth
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience using Product Management software and CRM systems

- Strong knowledge of improving product management processes, outcomes, and long‑term results
- Highly skilled in defining portfolio and investment decisions, balancing new customer needs, installed base requirements, and long-term differentiation
- Ability to identify industry dynamics, trends, and policies and translate them into innovative product strategies
- Expertise in making strategic partnership decisions (buy, build, or partner) and creating new sales channels
- Strong command of product management best practices, including value‑based pricing
- Ability to align competing stakeholder requests into a clear product roadmap and value proposition
- Skilled in conducting and communicating cost, benefit, reliability, and risk analyses
- Competence in competitor assessment and creation of battlecards
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Deep knowledge of integrity management and inline inspection, including industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Strong acumen in hardware and software development lifecycles and product design
- Experience executing continuous delivery methodologies (build, test, iterate) across hardware, software, and services
- Experience building data- and analytics‑based solutions
- Proven leadership with the ability to advocate for key initiatives, motivate teams, and drive continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues proactively, foster cross‑functional collaboration, and solve problems through critical thinking and innovation
- Experience in coaching and mentoring, communicating complex concepts, and building stakeholder consensus
- Strong persuasive and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate data‑driven insights
