Job Opportunity: Accountant
I am currently partnering with a global leader in the nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical industry on a search for an Accountant to join their Finance team.
Position Summary: This role is a key member of the Accounting and Finance team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll, debt, and general ledger activities, and ensuring compliance with both U.S. and international regulatory standards. The position plays a vital role in audit readiness, month-end close processes, and continuous process improvement within the accounting function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
- Execute month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and debt accounting.
- Lead internal and external audit coordination.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards and regulatory requirements (FDA, DEA, ISO, cGMP, etc.).
- Drive process improvement initiatives for accounting systems and internal controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or CMA highly desired.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with large ERP systems and business intelligence tools preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment.
Schedule: M–F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
