Crane Mechanic/Technician (Field Service)
We are hiring for an experienced Field Service Crane Mechanic to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating, inspecting, diagnosing defects, and repairing cranes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Crane Mechanic Job Responsibilities
- Inspect cranes to diagnose defects.
- Hydraulic Installs and repairs
- Electrical Installs and troubleshooting (12-24V)
- Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications.
- Accomplish tasks independently without direct supervision.
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
- Read, understand, and interpret operating/parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Crane Mechanic Job Requirements
- Must be able to travel 60% of the time to job sites and for training as required.
- Must have excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus.
- High School Diploma with a minimum of four years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician.
- Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment and Boom Trucks required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
