Seeking an experienced CNC Operator/Machinist responsible for advanced CNC machine setup, programming, troubleshooting, and production support in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced CNC machine setup, operation, and programming.
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding equipment.
- Adjust tooling and work offsets to optimize machining performance.
- Troubleshoot and edit existing CNC programs; develop basic programs as needed.
- Utilize QMS, MAX, and SPC systems to support quality and production requirements.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong understanding of machining practices and CNC programming.
- Experience with CNC setup, tooling selection, offsets, and program editing.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
Preferred
- Advanced machining/manufacturing training or certification.
- 3 years of manufacturing and machining experience.
- Experience with QMS and SPC systems.
