Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Configuration: Install and configure building automation systems, including sensors, controllers, and software applications to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Conduct in-depth diagnostics and troubleshooting of building automation systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions, minimizing downtime.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret system designs and execute installation plans, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Client Training & Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to clients on system usage, maintenance, and optimization strategies to enhance system performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, service activities, and technical reports to ensure transparency and facilitate future troubleshooting.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Electronics, HVAC, Building Automation, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience in building automation systems, HVAC controls, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages and protocols used in building automation (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LON).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
