Senior Software Engineer - Java

Job Duties:

• Play a senior role in helping modernize multiple financial modeling applications by migrating them from on-premises monolithic applications to AWS with microservices.
• Conduct performance optimization on AWS to ensure the performance meets requirements.
• Design and implement Java for database connectivity to handle highly concurrent database transactions
• Work on Front-end development with Angular if necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field.
• Must have 5 years of experience, 10 years referred
• Application development, prototyping, and high-level technical consulting.
• Work closely with team members and business partners to develop cutting-edge technology solutions under tight deadlines.
• 5-10 years of IT experience in Spring Boot and Microservices.
• 5-10 years of IT experience in design, development, integration and testing of software solutions
• 5-10 years of experience with relational databases
• 3-5 years of experience with the Kubernetes EKS cluster
• 3-5 years of experience with managing, building, and deploying code through tools including Intellij, GIT, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins.
• 3-5 years of experience designing and executing JUnit test cases using Mockito framework based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• 3-5 years of experience working with front-end development with Angular
