CONSTRUCTION LABORER
This position involves performing various tasks on hazardous and non-hazardous waste sites in the Northeast region of the United States. Tasks include manual labor in various weather conditions, working with hazardous materials, and operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform physical labor at earthmoving, remediation, heavy construction projects, and demolition sites.
- Operate and maintain hand, power tools, and equipment.
- Clean construction site to eliminate possible hazards.
- Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Load and unload materials from trucks or trailers.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Assist with preparation and review of Job Safety Analyses, observations, and other reports.
Requirements:
- 40-hour HAZWOPER training required.
- City and State specific training may be required.
- Subject to a background check & physical/drug screen.
- Must be able to wear PPE when needed.
- Will require frequent and extended travel to project sites.
Working Conditions:
- Most work is performed while standing or walking.
- Must be capable of working under physical stress conditions such as heat stress and cold stress during various weather conditions and potential long workdays.
- Possibility of frequent and prolonged use of respiratory equipment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Hard hat, hearing protection, eye protection, welders helmet, safety vest, gloves, steel toe boots, and respiratory protection.
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of equipment operation and usage.
- Previous construction and/or hazardous waste work experience preferred.
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- HAZWOPER 40-hour training and current refresher.
