Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry, OAEs, and ABR testing.
- Interpret diagnostic results and communicate findings clearly to both patients and physicians.
- Collaborate with ENT specialists to create individualized treatment plans.
- Fit, program, and verify hearing aids and assistive listening devices following best practices and evidence-based protocols.
- Counsel patients and families on hearing health, communication strategies, and device care.
- Manage follow-up appointments, device troubleshooting, and ongoing patient support.
- Maintain thorough, compliant clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s degree in Audiology.
- Current Virginia Audiology License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).
- Clinical experience in an ENT or medical practice setting preferred.
- Proficiency with hearing aid fitting software and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
