What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at ENT Center?
ENT Center has been around for 50 years servicing the Wasatch Front. Our company is staffed with fourteen physicians who all bring a unique taste to the practice. We have several locations (Downtown SLC, Millcreek, Draper, Riverton, Heber).
We are looking for a hard-working individual who has passion and drive. Someone who wants to learn and continue learning. Healthcare is always changing and this person needs to evolve with us as we make the changes.
This person will need to be open to traveling between some offices, as many of our physicians will start in one location and then drive to another in the same day. Also this person would need to have a reliable vehicle to arrive promptly to any location on time.
This would be a full-time position (35-40 hours) per week. Some days might be longer than others but overall this person will not exceed 40 hours in a single week. Clinics run Monday-Friday. Hours vary between 7 am- 6:30 pm.
We are looking for the following skills/characteristics:
- Must be open and willing to travel to locations as needed for coverage.
- Must be able to multi-task between various tasks
- Be open to learning new skills
- Must be comfortable with technology (computers, internet, AdvancedMD (EHR), Microsoft Office)
- Typing skills is a must. This job requires keyboard typing- looking for someone who can type at least 45 wpm.
- On time and ready to work daily.
- Must have compassion and patience as we are dealing with various individuals daily.
- Must be able to communicate effectively via face-face, email and writing. Grammar is very important for patient documentation.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid authority to work in the United States
