What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Associate position at ENT and Allergy Associates?
ENT and Allergy Associates, New York and New Jersey's premier ENT and Allergy medical practice, is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly Full Time Marketing Associate for our office locations throughout New Jersey, Rockland and Staten Island.
The objective of this position is to help promote the Practice's physicians and services and perform duties directly related to site based and catchment area-centric in-office marketing, Physician Referral Development (PRD) connectivity/facilitation, event planning, advertising, and other administrative duties as requested by the Marketing Manager and/or Director of Marketing.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Acting as a primary point person on the ground and helping to identify and execute everyday marketing initiatives for specific clinical offices/communities
- Helping to research/plan marketing events (dinners, PRD get togethers, community outreach, etc.)
- Promoting ENTA to local PCPs as well as other relevant constituencies within and without the medical communities in assigned catchment areas. This entails visiting local PCP offices, creating a personal as well as office connection, introducing our docs to local PCPs, leaving appropriate marketing materials, collecting PCP materials, completing all necessary follow-ups, setting up meet and greets/lunches, visiting local schools and corporate HQ’s and pharmacies, etc.
- Recording all above actions and reporting same so staff and physicians alike can view
- Actively and frequently communicating with physicians and staff and reporting back to Marketing Manager/Director of Marketing
- Developing relationships with ENTA PSA’s and other office staff personnel
- Exploring additional referral development opportunities and making recommendations on how to best pursue those opportunities
- Coordinate and assist at Practice dinner meetings frequently.
- Attend community events such as health fairs, fundraising events, street fairs, etc. and man marketing table to give community information on Practice.
- Creating/implementing specified intro and ongoing plans for new ENTA physicians to market themselves in order to practice build, and developing ways which would best fit each individual physician to promote themselves to the medical community and patient population.
- Helping to create tailored mailing lists, and implementing mailings as well as crafting and distributing targeted email blasts.
- Working with colleagues on the marketing team to develop internal marketing materials (For example: posters and service information)
- Working with colleagues on the marketing team to develop external marketing materials (For example: brochures, physician inserts, promotional items, and advertisements.)
- Researching/pursuing appropriate sponsorship, donation, and philanthropic ventures to strengthen relationship between our offices and their local communities.
- Maintaining records on individual office marketing budgets, doctor accolades, etc.
- Contributing to the Practice’s social media implementation and maintenance, as needed
- Identifying/coordinating media (press) opportunities for our physicians to spotlight the Practice’s many notable areas of expertise.
- Authoring Press Releases regularly to inform public of Practice news.
- Using Meltwater.com to send press releases and media pitches to media contacts.
- Using Salesforce.com to research referring physician community, log activities from the field via mobile, and generate activity reports for physicians.
- Update entandallergy.com with doc info, media mentions, office info, press releases, etc.
- Managing schedule and time independently to achieve goals successfully.
- Conferring with and mentoring marketing team colleagues, as appropriate
- Performing administrative duties (For example: financial requests, email communications, ordering marketing materials, and generating excel data reports).
- Must have flexibility to work overtime on nights and weekends frequently.
- Properly representing the Practice and maintaining the professional standards expected and required at all times.
