Position Summary

We’re seeking a Crane Maintenance Supervisor to lead inspection, maintenance, and repair of container handling cranes (STS, RTG). This is a leadership role focused on team development, technical oversight, and operational reliability—not crane or forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily crane maintenance and repairs
• Lead and mentor a team of crane technicians; assign tasks and monitor performance
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and ANSI safety standards
• Coordinate with terminal operations to minimize equipment downtime
• Manage parts inventory and procurement
• Maintain CMS records and report KPIs
• Support technician training and career development
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes and team performance

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of crane maintenance experience; 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of crane systems, diagnostics, and maintenance planning
• Experience with CMS and technical documentation
• TWIC credential required
• OSHA certification not required (employee does not operate cranes)
• Forklift operation not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including inclement weather
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Extended periods of standing, walking, or driving within the terminal or warehouse

Working Conditions

• Work at a port or terminal, which may involve shift work, weekends, and holidays
• Exposure to industrial environments, noise, and heavy machinery
