# Supervisor, Production Maintenance | Financial Services
**Location**: Coppell, Texas

## Pay & Schedule
**Base Salary**: $66K-$86K (DOE)
**Shift Differential**: 10% for all night hours
**Bonus**: Annual performance bonus

**Hours**: Mon-Fri 6PM-2:30AM (off-peak) OR 6PM-6AM (on-peak) some weekends
## The Role
Supervise 12-16 maintenance techs in high-volume production. Keep equipment running, manage repairs, control costs, lead team.
**Responsibilities:**
- Direct and coach mechanics/technicians daily
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns
- Manage parts inventory and vendors
- Run preventive maintenance programs
- Meet cost targets (CPU, labor, overtime)
- Hire, train, and discipline team members
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide daily direction, coaching, and technical support to production mechanics and technicians
- Monitor work in progress to ensure continuous production flow and timely completion of equipment repairs
- Maintain and manage parts inventory, including vendor selection, cost tracking, and ordering
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure adherence to established schedules
- Stay current on new technologies and equipment used across technical support and production operations
- Assume department management responsibilities in the absence of the Department Manager
- Meet or exceed Cost Per Unit (CPU) targets, including labor, overtime, and inventory controls
- Monitor and maximize machine throughput and production efficiency
- Coach, develop, motivate, and discipline technicians; recognize performance and maintain team engagement
- Ensure accurate completion of administrative work and compliance with departmental procedures
- Maintain personnel records for direct reports
- Manage a span of control of approximately 6–8 full-time associates and 6–8 temporary employees, along with all production equipment
- Communicate daily with senior management regarding scheduling, performance, and operational priorities
- Review daily throughput and equipment downtime reports and provide actionable feedback to the team
- Perform additional duties as assigned
## Requirements (Must Have ALL)
- Associates degree OR Technical/Trade School
- **5-7 years** repairing production equipment (high-volume)
- **3 years** supervising manufacturing/production teams
- **Insertion and bindery equipment expertise** (required!)
- Electrical/electronic circuit troubleshooting
- Microsoft Office Jet/IQ reporting tools
- Can work night shift permanently
- Available some weekends
