Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience.
- Upsell menu items to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while monitoring guest needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including basic math calculations for checks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest safety.
- Assist with guest relations, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightlife environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Familiarity with OpenTable reservations system is a plus.
- Basic culinary knowledge and food handling experience are beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Experience in cashiering and cash handling procedures is advantageous.

Pay: $2.35 - $24.20 per hour
