Our client, a large, nationally recognized AEC firm, based in Orange County, is seeking a Proposal Lead to join their Business Development and Marketing team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, strategic, and creative professional who enjoys managing pursuit efforts and producing compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing materials within the fast-paced AEC world.
NOTE
· Fully Onsite in Central Orange County - Hybrid or Remote Not available
· 5 years of relevant experience required – no recent graduates please
· AEC industry experience strongly preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead RFQs, RFPs, interview presentations, and pursuit submissions
· Coordinate schedules, deadlines, kickoff meetings, and deliverables
· Develop proposal strategy, messaging, and content with leadership and design teams
· Write, edit, and assemble high-quality proposal and presentation materials
· Partner with marketing and graphic teams to create polished submissions
· Maintain project sheets, resumes, and marketing collateral databases
· Monitor industry portals and identify new project opportunities
· Coordinate with consultants and teaming partners during pursuits
WHAT YOU BRING
· Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business, Architecture, or related field
· 5 years of proposal coordination, marketing, or business development experience
· Prior experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related industries preferred
· Strong writing and editing — translating technical info into compelling narratives
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign
· Familiarity with OpenAsset, Mailchimp, LinkedIn, and related marketing platforms preferred
Compensation Range: $85k-$95k
