Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Injection Mold Maintenance Technician on the first shift! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, assembling, disassembling, cleaning, and minor repairs to injection molding mold/dies/tools. Duties
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing work in a safe efficient manner.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on injection molding molds/dies/tools,identifying issues.
- Assemble and disassemble molds/dies/tools for production.
- Provide support in resolving chronic process and quality problems.
- Develop mold maintenance schedules based on input from Production and Engineering.
- Maintain blue prints, files and mold storage inventory system.
- Organize and maintain Tool Room equipment maintenance plans and documents.
- Use of advanced trades mathematics, together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications,charts, tables, handbook formulas, and a variety of precision measuring instruments.
- Operate fork truck to retrieve and store molds/dies/tools while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Tool Room machinery and equipment such as: Surface grinder, CNC Lathe, Manual Lathe, EDM, CNC Mill, and Manual Mill.
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a focus on accurate assemblies of injection molds/dies/tools/.
- Must be physically capable of lifting 30 - 75 pounds frequently and exert up to 60 pounds of force.
- Must demonstrate ability to follow directions, use of precision measuring instruments, perform advanced trades mathematical functions, blue print reading,
Pay: $25.25 - $36.80 per hour
