Quality Inspector – 3:00am to 11:30am, 11:00am to 7:30pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your keen eye for detail, and commitment to quality assurance will help uphold our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines to verify product specifications.
• Conduct visual inspections, at times utilizing vision inspection systems and other measurement tools, to detect defects or inconsistencies.
• Inspect product for conformance, document findings clearly and precisely in ERP system, and effectively communicate to Production.
• Collaborate with Production teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions and other regulatory standards.
• Sort, weigh, and count parts.
• Operate chop-off and pick finished goods, sheets, and parts.
• Control inventory of stock parts
• Accurately produce product certifications and other customer compliance documentation.
• Perform all duties in an expedient and efficient manner.
• Maintain safe work habits including following all safety procedures.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain good interpersonal relationships with all co-workers.

Required Education and Experience

• Education - High school diploma or GED
• Able to read, write clearly, speak, and understand English
• Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding work environment
• Ability to remain calm and focused while prioritizing requests from multiple sources
• Good computer skills and familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Proven experience in quality inspection or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards.
• Hands-on experience operating measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines.
• Basic math skills for precise measurement and analysis tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
• Understand and follow company procedures.
• Demonstrate proper lifting techniques.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Comply with all safety guidelines

Physical Demands

• Must be able to independently lift/move up to 70 lbs
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, crouch or crawl on a frequent to continual basis in a production environment
• Reach above shoulder level frequently
• Must be able to work while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the job (such as steel-toed protective footwear, harness, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, protective clothing, etc.)
