Total Base Pay Range: 95,000.00 - 125,000.00 USD Annual
Position Summary: The Director of Marketing Strategy & Enrollment leads all enrollment marketing and brand strategy efforts at Ensign College. This role is responsible for developing the College’s external-facing voice, crafting and executing compelling content strategies, and managing integrated marketing campaigns that drive Wasatch Front enrollment—with a strong emphasis on reaching prospective students, families, and community stakeholders. The successful candidate will not only lead strategy but must be both a strategic leader and a capable content creator, with the ability to independently produce assets such as graphics, videos, and written messaging. This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership role that requires initiative, innovation, and a high level of execution.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field; master’s preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing leadership, with a track record of campaign planning and brand leadership
- Develop and implement the College’s brand positioning and student-facing voice across all channels
- Design and execute content strategies—including messaging, creative assets, and media—for digital and traditional campaigns
- Create marketing materials independently, including graphics, video content, and social media assets, as needed
- Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with recruitment goals
- Serve as the primary liaison with digital ad vendors and other creative partners
- Oversee lead-nurture communications including email, SMS, and automation tools
- Approve all creative and messaging outputs to ensure brand alignment and effectiveness
- Lead collaborative planning meetings with the Admissions & Recruitment office and other key stakeholders
- Provide strategic oversight to a team of marketing personnel, including a full-time staff member and part-time student employees, and ensure performance is tracked and optimized using defined metrics
- Remain accountable for achieving key performance metrics as defined in the College’s institutional and departmental strategic plans, with a focus on enrollment growth and campaign effectiveness
- Experience with higher education enrollment marketing campaigns and outreach
- Skilled in leveraging data, trends, institutional goals to drive enrollment outcomes
- Ability to develop strategy and execute content creation (writing, design, video editing)
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.) or comparable tools
- Experience with social media content planning, advertising, and campaign reporting
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Experience managing creative teams and external vendors
- Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Tag Manager, Element451, etc.)
- Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) to support outreach to Hispanic students and stakeholders
- Membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
- Worthiness to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
- Receive clearance from the Church Educational System Ecclesiastical Clearance Office.
- Strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Commitment to bring about the purposes of Ensign College.
- Reside in Utah and able to work in person at our downtown Salt Lake City campus.
