Job Description
EBAD is looking to hire a Temporary Human Resources Coordinator to join the team in Simsbury, CT. The Human Resources Coordinator is effectively the first line of support to all EBAD employees in Simsbury and a key front-facing team member of the HR team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be first line of support for all employees and triage inquiries as necessary in a timely manner
- Assist with day-to-day coordination of HR processes, programs, and initiatives
- Own the pre-hire and onboarding process including new hire preparation, day one orientation and onboarding
- Maintain accurate and timely entry of employee data within HR systems including Workday and IFS
- Become Workday and IFS lead for the EBAD Simsbury HR Team; partner with Workday and IFS stakeholders to increase efficiency of HR processes
- Coordinate coin recognition, service anniversary and tuition reimbursement programs
- Maintain the HR staffing dashboard and various Workday and Excel reports as needed for the HR Team
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry of critical employee information
- Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
- Prior experience in human resources or business preferred
- Ability to demonstrate a positive and professional presence to internal and external customers
- Ability to work on multiple projects and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Demonstrates the initiative to provide possible solutions when faced with challenges
- Ability to pick up new HR systems quickly; experience using Workday and/or IFS is preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field
