This opportunity to work in our growing Electronics Center for Excellence, where we are developing electronic products for next generation strategic missile platforms, missile defense systems, launch vehicle payload deployment systems, and manned spaceflight.
EBAD seeks an accomplished engineer for the position Manufacturing Systems Engineer, reporting to the PCBA Manufacturing Manager. The position is located in Simsbury, CT.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing and optimizing EBAD’s AEGIS (Factory Logix) MES Software system, including but not limited to the following.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations and experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) implementation, configuration, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing and optimizing EBAD’s AEGIS (Factory Logix) MES Software system, including but not limited to the following.
- Manage and maintain Aegis (Factory Logix) software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Configure and optimize Aegis (Factory Logix) workflows, dashboards, and reports to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation of Aegis (Factory Logix) configurations, workflows, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Aegis (Factory Logix) functionality and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Aegis (Factory Logix) issues, collaborating with Aegis support teams as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations and experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
- 5 years of experience in SMT manufacturing operations, with a focus on MES (Manufacturing Execution System) implementation and management.
- Strong understanding of SMT manufacturing processes.
- Experience with data analysis, process improvement, and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with integrating MES with ERP system
- Experience with Aegis (Factory Logix) MES software
- Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Understanding of Shop Orders, Routings and Product Structures
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems preferred, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
