The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a track record of leading cross-functional collaboration, managing complex opportunity funnels, and increasing bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage customer relationships by understanding their priorities, challenges, and definition of value
- Identify, qualify, and track opportunities while accounting for DoD budget timing and contracting processes
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to develop differentiated solutions to complex customer problems
- Gather and document customer and market intelligence to inform business strategy and internal priorities
- Prepare and deliver effective presentations to internal and external stakeholders
- Drive actions that strengthen competitive differentiation, improve margins, and increase bookings
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10 years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry, with a background anchored in engineering through education, experience, or both
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to listen deeply, frame customer problems, and develop solutions
- Proven ability to foster long-term professional relationships and help organizations win and grow together
- Experience managing opportunity funnels and driving year-over-year increases in bookings
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with experience developing and pressure-testing hypotheses through customer and market intelligence
