Summary/Objective
A Hotel Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk duties during the PM and Overnight shifts. They must ensure that the quality and integrity of the establishment are maintained just as diligently as they are during the day.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations maybe made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
Check in customers using computer programs and equipment and provide guests with directions to their room.
Balancing the accounts from dayshift.
Post room charges and room taxes to guests’ accounts. Processes guest credit card vouchers.
Prepares and sends daily operations reports to management.
Tracks rooms’ revenues, occupancy p
Audit, post, and balance daily cashiers’ work and complies information for hotel’s financial records.
Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs.
Ensuring customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference.
Generally, as likely the only staff member working at the hotel during the night shift, be cognizant of possible security and maintenance issues that may affect the guests and hotel.
Handling customer requests and complaints and directing other employees or departments accordingly.
Ensuring that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments.
Answering calls and queries related to potential booking.
Acts as MOD in the absence of the GM/AGM.

Highly responsible and reliable.
Ability to remain calm while under pressure

Work environment

Hotels operate24/7 therefore schedules may at times fluctuate based on the needs of the business.

Required education and experience
At least one-year Front Desk Experience as Guest Services Agent, or two years’ experience in the Hospitality field.
