About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional cello instructor to teach part-time at The Catoctin School of Music, our Leesburg, VA location. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency. Preference will be given to candidates who can commit to teaching 1-2 evenings each week.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or pedagogy or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $35-50/hour. Health benefits options and a 401K with employer match are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment.
