Corporate Sales Manager
At the Delta Hotel by Marriott Phoenix-Mesa, we strive to provide Purposeful Service: perceptive and intuitive staff that know what guests need and when. The Senior Sales Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing. This Sales Manager is tasked with driving the property’s business through proactive and reactive sales and marketing efforts to achieve revenue and service goals; assists DOSM in developing and implementing property-wide strategies that deliver products and services designed to successfully grow the property’s market share.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Sales Manager located in Mesa, AZ. As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to attract new clients and nurture existing relationships. Your daily tasks will include managing client interactions, preparing sales proposals, coordinating with other departments, and staying updated on market trends to identify new business opportunities. You will also be expected to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of Delta Hotels by Marriott Phoenix Mesa.

- Proven experience in developing and executing sales strategies
- Strong client management and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in preparing sales proposals and presentations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Knowledge of market trends and ability to identify new business opportunities
- Experience in the hospitality industry or event planning is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and coordinate with other departments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Present a crisp and polished appearance that is reflective of Marriott brand standards
- Deliver positive and upbeat energy that can deliver total guest satisfaction
- Ability to build strong relationships in the community as well as with internal key stakeholders requiring some time outside the hotel
- Utilize self-discipline, critical thinking skills, and the ability to self-direct
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Adherent to high quality standards in all written and oral communications
- Must be a team player with the ability to adjust to changing situations and priorities
- Maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Demonstrate strong computer skills and a pleasant telephone demeanor.
