Duties/Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Performing Phase I/II environmental site assessments
- Preparation of work plans
- Conducting site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water, and building materials)
- Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; and preparation of plans and reports.
- Field documentation
- Assist in authoring technical reports.
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Requires a minimum of a BS (MS preferred) in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science
- 0-5 years of experience (previous internships preferred)
- Professional registration, certification, GID, geotechnical, and/or geophysics experience are a plus.
- Preferred: GIT or EIT
- Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Programs, including Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Occasional regional travel likely
