Duties/Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Perform Phase I/II environmental site assessments
- Prepare work plans
- Conduct site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water, and building materials)
- Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; and preparation of plans and reports.
- Field documentation
- Assisting in authoring technical reports
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Requires a minimum of a BS (MS preferred) in Geology, Engineering, or other Science.
- 0-2 years of experience (previous internships are helpful)
- Professional registration, certification, GID, geotechnical, and/or geophysics experience are a plus.
- Preferred: EIT, PE, PG, and the ability to obtain a PE/PG license in other states.
- Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Regional travel likely
- Occasional weekend work is required.
