What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer - Mid Level position at Enroute Computer Solutions?
This position supports the Federal Aviation Administration/FAA air traffic control maintenance activities for the Traffic Flow Managment System (TFMS).
Provides expertise in the application of state-of-the-art and aging technology to meet mission requirements. Provides second level engineering technical support for large complex NAS programs and systems,including, but not limited to:
- Air traffic and flight operations data analysis;
- Pilot and air traffic controller information processing;
- Systems engineering; and
- Network engineering.
The Engineer supports second level engineering business processes and business process reengineering and may also support specialty engineering (e.g., communications, systems safety, quality assurance, test and evaluation, etc.); human factors, risks and mitigation strategies, reliability and maintainability, systems security. Provides consulting and advisory services to project, operations and engineering teams. Directly participates and coordinates with the internal and external subject matter experts on all matters pertinent to the successful implementation of the program or functional area. Conducts and/or participates with program reviews and meetings, as applicable.

Salary : $79,061 - $136,343
