Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide warm, attentive service
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Enter orders using Toast POS system
• Explain menu items and make recommendations
• Deliver food and drinks efficiently and professionally
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience
• Process payments accurately
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas and server stations
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to multitask in a busy restaurant environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Must be available for evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Toast POS experience is a plus

Erawan Thai Cuisine is seeking a dependable, hardworking Kitchen Helper / Prep Cook to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean kitchen, preparing quality ingredients, and supporting our chefs in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vegetables, meats, seafood, sauces, and other ingredients for service
• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
• Follow all NYC Health Department food safety and sanitation standards
• Receive, organize, label, and rotate inventory using FIFO procedures
• Assist with stocking and maintaining kitchen supplies
• Remove trash and keep work areas clean throughout each shift
• Support the kitchen team with additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
