Essential skills and experience:
- CAD certificate or Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design (preferred).
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of technical plans, drawings, and 3D models.
- Utilize software to create and modify site plans, grading and drainage layouts, utility layouts, and various other construction drawings.
- Work with Civil Surveyors and Engineers to conduct site analysis, and integrate topographical surveys and geotechnical data, to inform design decisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work with others.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Software ability:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Bluebeam (preferred)
- AutoCAD
- AutoCAD MEP
- AutoCAD Civil 3d (preferred)
Job type: Full time
Salary: TBD
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, with Friday afternoons off
