Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Project Manager, based in Kailua, HI, with flexibility for occasional remote work. The Senior Project Manager will oversee environmental projects, manage project timelines and resources, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities will include coordinating with clients and internal teams, developing project strategies, supervising inspections, managing logistics, and expediting critical project milestones to ensure timely completion. This role requires effective leadership and communication skills to manage teams and foster successful client relationships.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management, including planning, organization, and resource allocation for asbestos, lead, mold, and other hazardous materials.
- Proficiency in Cost Estimating and experience as a PM writing and reviewing project specific proposals and cost estimates and able to ensure projects meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong skills in Inspection processes and practices related to hazmat, asbestos, lead paint, mold, and other environmental or real estate development/ construction projects.
- Knowledge of Logistics Management for the efficient handling of project materials and resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, or commensurate experience in project management.
- Familiarity with Hawaii State Hazmat, Asbestos, Lead, and other environmental regulations and compliance is a plus.
- Ability to balance on-site and remote work responsibilities effectively.
- Certification in project management (PMP or similar), HIASB Asbestos inspector management planner project monitor designer or supervisor is highly desirable.
