Join our dynamic teams designing and developing next-generation energy technologies and help drive a sustainable future!

As Facilities Supervisor, you will be the primary on-site contact for workplace operations at our Meridian office and will play a visible role in creating a safe, secure, compliant, and welcoming environment. You will join the Global Real Estate & Facilities team, report to the Director, Global Facilities, and partner closely with IT, HR, EH&S, Security, the landlord, and service providers. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to strengthen site operations, access-control governance, employee service, emergency readiness, and audit-ready documentation while building broad experience across global workplace functions.

What you will do

  • Own day-to-day workplace readiness, front-desk coverage, employee and visitor service, and the condition of reception, conference, training, break, mail, storage, and shared areas.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, janitorial services, landlord requests, and vendor work; verify completion and document scope, cost, approvals, and corrective actions.
  • Administer badges, keys, visitor credentials, vendor access, and approved access changes in accordance with authorization, least-access, and record-retention requirements.
  • Review assigned Workday notifications for hires, transfers, leaves, contractors, and terminations; coordinate timely access, seating, workspace, and offboarding actions with HR, IT, managers, and site leadership.
  • Support site safety and EH&S activities, including workplace inspections, hazard and incident reporting, emergency contacts, evacuation information, first-aid and AED readiness, drills, and training records.
  • Maintain audit-ready records for physical access, visitors, CCTV and alarm checks, safety inspections, drills, vendors, purchasing, and corrective actions, including support for ISO 27001 and other applicable audits.
  • Manage mail, packages, couriers, workplace supplies, pantry and first-aid inventory, and time-sensitive deliveries within approved processes and budgets.
  • Support employee events, interviews, site meetings, training areas, and display spaces through room setup, catering, vendor coordination, signage, housekeeping, and post-event restoration.
  • Create and track purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, expenses, quotes, and approvals; investigate discrepancies and help prevent avoidable late payments.
  • Prepare concise site updates and maintain shared procedures, contacts, work-order records, and business-continuity information so critical operations are not dependent on one individual.

Who you are and What you bring

  • Associate degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Four or more years of experience in facilities coordination, office operations, workplace services, front-desk operations, hospitality, or a comparable customer-service-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating vendors, work orders, maintenance, supplies, mail, workplace readiness, and administrative purchasing processes.
  • Experience with badge access, visitor management, safety coordination, workplace inspections, emergency preparedness, or audit documentation is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and the ability to learn Workday, purchasing, work-order, visitor-management, and access-control systems.
  • Clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication skills, including confidence interacting with senior leaders and high-profile visitors.
  • Strong organization, judgment, follow-through, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and bring issues to closure.
  • Ability to work independently, protect confidential information, respond to urgent site needs, and escalate risk appropriately.
  • Collaborative, dependable, service-oriented, and willing to perform both administrative and hands-on workplace tasks.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to move, lift, and carry workplace supplies, packages, equipment, and materials weighing up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance from another person or appropriate lifting equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to set up and rearrange conference rooms, training spaces, event areas, furniture, and workplace equipment as needed.
  • Ability to perform occasional tasks requiring climbing stairs, kneeling, crouching, or working in storage, mail, and utility areas.
  • Ability to respond to workplace emergencies, participate in evacuation drills, and move throughout the site as necessary.
  • Ability to work in an office environment and occasionally in warehouse, loading dock, mechanical, or outdoor areas while coordinating facilities operations.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and mobile devices and perform computer-based work for extended periods.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Meridian, Idaho. No routine travel is required.
