Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Torrance, CA, for a Purchasing Clerk. The duties include managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring timely procurement of materials, and maintaining supplier relationships. The Purchasing Clerk will communicate with vendors for quotes and order follow-ups, monitor shipments, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Procurement
- Demonstrated experience in Purchasing and Procurement operations
- Strong Communication skills to manage relationships with suppliers and team members
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing inventory and documentation
- Proficiency in using procurement software or systems is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or coursework in supply chain management or procurement is an advantage
