Debt Collections Representative (Hybrid)

This position will be hybrid, with in-office work from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.About the role:A Collections Representative for Small Business, you’ll become an expert in one of our Small business brands, spending most of your day using an automatic dialer to make outbound calls and handle inbound ones. You’ll also communicate with Small business customers via email. Your main goal is to help small businesses bring their loan payments up to date. We take a softer collections approach—showing empathy and understanding—while keeping the focus on successfully collecting payments. Responsibilities:Handle inbound and outbounds calls to customers regarding overdue paymentsFind solutions for customers who are past due on their account to get them back up to dateFollow up with customers via email and answer any questions that they may haveMaintain accurate, up-to-date information of customer interactionsMove existing customers through various stages of delinquency with a proficiency to brings loans to a current statusFollow all collection laws and legal practiceRequirements:Strong verbal communication and negotiation skillsAptitude to express empathy and patience while discussing sensitive issuesAbility to balance multiple priorities, independently problem solve, and effectively handle changing situationsThe drive to exceed your goals in a fast-paced, metric driven environmentComputer proficiency and accurate data entry skills requiredPrior experience using Salesforce is a plusKnowledge of FDCPA and FCRA practicesCompensation:The budgeted hourly rate for this position is $25.00. Additional compensation for this role may include commission or bonus.
